Distributing at Cost Refurbished Stoves in the Community
The Robinhood Fund takes old stoves by donation, fixes them up at cost, and sells them to the Talkeetna & Trapper Creek community without taking any profit.
We are committed to recycling wealth into our community, and helping those who need it most.
No Profits
Talkeetna Toyos LLC is a for profit entity, but the Robinhood Fund operates financially isolated from the rest of the business. This means stoves will only be sold for the 1) initial stove cost + 2) distribution parts pricing + 3) the wages we pay to our employees to do the physical repair work.
The organization, management, inventory, investment, and distribution of these stoves is entirely non-profit.
Keep it in the Community
Stoves from the Robinhood fund are distributed to people with a proven need for heat who reside in Talkeetna or Trapper Creek. It is meant to be a ‘by need’ fund. We do not sell them on Facebook marketplace, and we do not advertise availability or pricing.
If you need a reliable heater, or know someone who does, please contact us at the main business line.
If you have an old stove you would like to donate, please let us know! We will arrange pick-up, and can let you know when it is redistributed back into the community.
