Talkeetna Toyos LLC aims to become a sustainable Talkeetna institution that provides fast, reliable, affordable, and honest service to the Talkeetna community and beyond.

This is our plan.

While currently a privately held Alaskan company, we have the intention to become a fully owned workers’ co-op, with the ability to circulate ownership in the community, while continuing to serve the original vision. We aim to build something that can outlast us, and respond to the real needs of an Alaskan winter.

This vision requires sufficient decentralization of culture and knowledge. We consider the attempt firstly a study in integrity, and secondly a heating business with a communal vision.
